Régine is currently managing a team of over twelve experienced and passionate legal translators. She previously held for over 12 years the position of Director, Linguistic Services Department of another large pan-Canadian law firm and has also been in charge of the Translation Department of a multinational insurance brokerage firm.
Régine holds a bachelor’s degree in translation and localization from the Université de Montréal and a graduate diploma in Spanish translation from McGill University. She completed an International Masters Program for Managers which gave her the opportunity to study in renown management schools throughout the world, including in three BRIC countries. She recently received from Lancaster University (United Kingdom) a Master of Science in International Executive Management.Régine is actively engaged in her professional community. She ensures a voice for translators and promotes advocacy for the profession as well as for innovative techno-linguistic tools made available to language professionals. She supports several women’s business networks and sits on the board of directors of several professional associations.
