Rosario Cartagena provides advice on health matters including corporate governance, privacy, public policy, risk management, health regulatory compliance, and health research. She also advices on matters specific to health-related corporate transactions.

Rosario previously worked at Cancer Care Ontario where she provided advice on privacy and risk management, and negotiated a variety of privacy agreements with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector. She also drafted complex Privacy Impact Assessments and conducted privacy training.

A Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C), Rosario also has a Certificate in Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and an LL.M from Osgoode Hall Law School specializing in corporate law.

She is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto and is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed journal, Health Law in Canada.
