Ryan attends the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University. He is involved in student government and serves in the elected positions of Vice President Professional of the Society of Graduate and Professional Students and Special Representative of the Law Students’ Society.
In these roles, he represents Queen’s students in the Faculties of Law, Medicine, and Education to the upper-level university administration, including the Principal of Queen’s University and the Dean of the Faculty of Law. He sits on a variety of committees as an advocate for students alongside administrators and the university’s General Counsel. Ryan is also a member of the executive of the Law Private Equity Association and the Law Tax Society.
Last summer, Ryan worked at a civil litigation firm in Vancouver. The summer prior to law school, he was employed by the University of British Columbia, working on its Vancouver Summer Program for visiting international students. Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of British Columbia.
Ryan enjoys following Canadian politics and is on the board of directors of the Vancouver Granville Conservative Association.
