Ryan Schnier is an associate in Fasken’s Business Law section and is engaged in a diverse corporate/commercial practice. He regularly advises clients on a variety of private mergers and acquisitions, involving both domestic and cross-border transactions. He also works closely with start-up and early-stage companies throughout their lifecycle, including their formation, on corporate governance, commercial contracting and financing matters, as well as on their exit transactions.
Outside of his practice, Ryan mentors underprivileged youth facing systemic barriers to success by volunteering with Law in Action Within Schools. Ryan also serves as a director of Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University, a not-for-profit corporation that provides direct funding support for the educational and research goals of Tel Aviv University. Finally, he is an active member of Fasken’s Law School Liaison Committee and Associates’ Committee.
Ryan enjoys travelling, agonizing over Toronto’s sports teams and Bruce Springsteen.
