Ryan Schnier maintains a broad corporate/commercial practice. He regularly advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private placements and debt and equity financings, as well as private equity and venture capital fund formation. He also regularly advises early-stage companies on formation, governance, structure and financing matters.
During his studies at Tel Aviv University, Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Western Ontario, Ryan was a recipient of the Blake Cassels & Graydon LLP Scholarship for academic achievement, the Western University Scholarship of Excellence and the Western In-Course Scholarship.
Ryan summered at Fasken Martineau in 2015 and was seconded to Rogers Sportsnet. He then articled with the firm and joined as an associate in 2017. Prior to joining Fasken, Ryan worked as a law student for Kan-Tor & Acco in Israel and Groia & Company in Toronto.
Outside law, Ryan enjoys travelling, sports and Bruce Springsteen.
