Samuel Labrecque is a student in the Bachelor of Law Cooperative Program at the Université de Sherbrooke. He joined the Fasken team as a student in 2018, after completing his first internship with the firm as part of the cooperative program.

While a law student, Samuel played an active role in his community as a founding member of the Sherbrooke chapter of PennyDrops, a NFP organization. This organization offers hundreds of secondary students lessons in financial literacy in partnership with the Université de Sherbrooke.  He won the Bourse de la relève Desjardins as a result of his community involvement and academic excellence. Samuel’s name also appeared on the Dean’s List.

 

Before entering law school, Samuel was a biology research assistant for an organic agricultural firm and spoke about ethical issues in the field of scientific research during a conference entitled Colloque de philosophie du Cégep de Victoriaville. Samuel was also a member of the Cégep de Victoriaville football and rugby teams.
