Samuel Labrecque joined the Fasken team in 2018 while studying for his LL.B. at Université de Sherbrooke. He is currently completing his Master of Laws at Université Laval. His thesis project focuses on the use of access to information acts by businesses.
Samuel acquired significant experience in public law. He was a lecturer in administrative law at the Université de Sherbrooke. He also contributed to the conception of several other courses at the Université Laval, including a program for investigators in the Quebec public service and a course on public contracts.
During his university education, Samuel has received several recognitions for the quality of his academic record. He is on the honor roll of the Quebec Bar School and on the Dean's list of the University of Sherbrooke. His master's project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). He is also the recipient of various institutional scholarships, including the Yvon-Martineau Fund for the relevance of his research project in the field of business law.
