Sara Reid is a member of Fasken’s Real Estate team with a practice focusing on commercial real estate transactions and land redevelopment projects.
She acts for local, regional and national real estate developers and asset management firms, as well as investors and land owners, in connection with the purchase, sale and development of real property (including mixed-use properties, commercial podiums, hotels, office buildings, industrial buildings, shopping centres, seniors’ residences and vacant land), secured financing, and other related matters. She also assists landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing.
Sara is known for her pragmatic approach to real estate and for providing legal counsel tailored to each client’s unique needs and objectives.
She is also the founder of "Fasken Leaders at Law", a newly-formed initiative with a mission to train, support and empower the next generation of in-house lawyers to become key members of their organization and to succeed in today’s ever-changing business environment.
Prior to joining Fasken, Sara worked at a global law firm, a “unicorn” start-up, and was seconded to one of the world’s largest medical device companies.
