Sarah is a student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she was selected to compete in the 2023 Gale Cup national moot and served as the Director of Equity and Diversity on the Allard Women’s Caucus. Sarah also volunteered with the Legal Education Outreach program and was a mentor for 1L students. Sarah will be starting a clerkship at the BC Court of Appeal in September of 2024.
Prior to attending law school, Sarah owned and managed a contracting company, specializing in residential renovations and real estate investment projects. Sarah also owned a successful e-commerce business and worked in the restaurant industry.
In her spare time, Sarah can be found spending time with her kids at the beach, going for a run in one of Vancouver’s many parks, or discovering a new brewery or coffee shop. Sarah is also an avid beader and enjoys creating patterns that combine modern elements with traditional Métis styles.
Sarah is Métis and descends from the historic Lac Ste Anne Métis community in Northern Alberta.
