Sergio Custodio is Co-Leader of the Firm’s Real Estate Law group, and Leader of the Real Estate Law group in Vancouver. He advises clients on a broad range of business matters, with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, and commercial transactions. Sergio is sought out for his ability to consistently close even the most complicated and fast-paced transactions from leasing, financings, acquisitions, and dispositions to development, investment structures, and project development agreements.

Understanding specialized industry

Sergio provides general counsel and transactional advice to a wide variety of clients participating in diverse and often specialized and complex industry sectors including: transportation, hospitality, healthcare, education, technology and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Sergio practised law as in-house counsel for the Vancouver International Airport Authority (YVR), a private airport authority that manages one of Canada's busiest airports. Executives and entrepreneurs count on Sergio to understand what it takes to keep them at the top of their game. They also rely on him to provide the tactical guidance that only experience working in a business can bring. This allows him to effectively advise on business matters, including those intersecting private business and governments.

In addition to having acted as counsel for one of British Columbia's largest landlords, Sergio regularly acts for tenants and other business owners and operators involved in leasing and other real estate transactions.
