Sirena joined Fasken after completing the second year of her Bachelor of Law at Université Laval. She completed the École du Barreau’s professional training program in fall 2020. Sirena is interested in common law and will begin a Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Université de Montréal before starting her articling with the firm in 2022.
During her law studies, Sirena clerked with the Honourable Justice Christian Brunelle of the Court of Québec Civil Division and the Human Rights Tribunal. This experience allowed her to work on a variety of matters and develop an excellent understanding of the judicial process.
Sirena is passionate about oral advocacy and represented Université Laval at the Laskin moot court competition, where she ranked among the best oralists.
Actively involved throughout her academic career, Sirena was elected Vice-President of Professional Affairs of the Université Laval’s Law Students’ Association. This experience allowed her to work closely with various practitioners in the legal community.In addition to her passion for law, Sirena enjoys kickboxing and hiking in her free time.
