Rogers Media obtains US$600 million of credit facilities

On September 22, 2005, Rogers Media negotiated a new syndicated bank loan agreement whereby it increased its available credit from $500 million to $600 million and appointed a new Administrative Agent for its lenders, Royal Bank of Canada. Fasken Martineau's Jon Levin and David Johnson represented the lending syndicate. Rogers Media Inc, a member of the Rogers Communications group of companies is one of the largest media companies in Canada. Its interests include television and radio stations across the country (it has successfully pioneered the all-news radio format in Canada) as well as some of Canada's leading magazines such as MacLeans.
