On March 27, 2006, Qualitor Inc., a portfolio company of Thayer Capital Partners, acquired Gunn Metal Stampings Co., a manufacturer and wholesaler of automotive parts, from Morse Automotive Corporation. Morse is the largest independently owned manufacturer of brake shoes and disc pads in the United States.
Morse was represented in Canada by Fasken Martineau with a team consisting of Sean Stevens, Mitchell Thaw, Dan Law, Ralph Nero, Tyrone Medley and Rosalind Cooper.
