Gravel v. Rouleau 2006 QCCS 5298 Mtre Morissette successfully convinced that court, which declared the Centre Missionnaire Oblats heir and legatee. Not being vested with legal personality, l'Aide à la Promotion Missionnaire, a charity, cannot inherit. However, the court allowed Mtre Morissette's suggestion, and declared the Centre Missionnaire Oblats legatee and heir, as the association is part of this entity. This enabled the charity to benefit from an inheritance.
