On November 30, 2006, Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada provided financing, by way of a term loan facility in the amount of $104,522,000 to NPR Health Property Limited Partnership. The funds will be used to upgrade assisted living/nursing home facilities owned by NPR and operated by Age Care Investments Ltd. and Age Care Health Services Inc. located in Alberta (Calgary, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Brooks) and British Columbia (Burnaby). NPR is owned by Northern Property Real Estate Investment Trust.
