Starfield Resources closes US$1.7 million private placement

On December 29, 2006, Starfield Resources Inc. completed its previously announced private placement offering. The placement was for 5,884,865 flowthrough common shares of Starfield for gross proceeds of $1,765,459.00 The shares, issued in two tranches, are subject to a four month hold period expiring April 29, 2007 and April 30, 2007, respectively. Fasken Martineau advised Starfield Resources in this transaction with a team that included Craig Brown, Nancy Eastman and Dan Fabiano.
