On March 14, 2007, RedPrairie Corporation, a leading consumer driven optimisation company in the US, announced that it had completed its acquisition of GEOCOMtms. The combined company, operating under the name RedPrairie Corporation, will integrate and support all products and services from both organizations within RedPrairie's end-to-end suite. The acquisition fulfills demands from shippers and transportation service providers for essential, robust fleet management solutions that provide route optimisation and visibility to manage same day deliveries for private and commercial fleets.
