Gammon Lake Resources completes US$200 million public offering

Gammon Lake Resources Inc.

On April 24, 2007, Gammon Lake Resources Inc. completed a public offering of 10 million common shares at a price of $20.00 per common share for gross proceeds of $200 million. The offering was sold on a bought deal basis to a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets, and including Scotia Capital Inc. and TD Securities Inc. Net proceeds will be applied to the repayment of indebtedness and also towards the advancement of certain of Gammon Lake's projects. Gammon Lake is a Nova Scotia-based mid tier gold and silver producer with properties in Mexico. Gammon Lake was advised in this matter by a team from Fasken Martineau comprised of John Turner, Greg Ho Yuen, Mitchell Thaw, Bozidar Crnatovic, and students-at-law Jean-Michel Noël and Marc Lefler.
