On December 6, 2007, Platmin Limited announced that it had completed the previously announced offering of 9,500,000 common shares at a price per share of $8.50 to raise gross proceeds of $80,750,000. The offering was underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters jointly led by RBC Capital Markets and GMP Securities L.P., and including Haywood Securities Inc. The net proceeds will be used principally to advance the development of Platmin's Pilanesberg Project. Application has been made for the 9,500,000 common shares to be traded on AIM and admission will occur on December 7, 2007.
Platmin is engaged in the exploration for and development of platinum group metal deposits in the Bushveld Region of South Africa.
