Pelangio Mines completes plan of arrangement

On September 6, 2008, Pelangio Mines Inc. (TSX: PLG), a gold exploration company active in Canada and Ghana, completed its spin-off by way of a plan of arrangement of all of its assets, other than 19 million common shares of Detour Gold Corporation and certain working capital, to Pelangio Exploration Inc. ("Exploration"). Pursuant to the terms of the arrangement, Pelangio has been renamed PDX Resources Inc. PDX continues to be listed on the TSX and Exploration is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Pelangio was advised in this matter by Fasken Martineau with a team led by Lata Casciano and that included, among others Richard Peters, Amanda MacAdams, Kevin Clinton, Ianny Xenopoulous and KC Miu (corporate / securities); Frank Schober, Kate Seniowski and Alan Schwartz (tax); and Rinus de Waal (litigation).
