Overview

This was an appeal before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal from decisions of the President of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) with respect to the application of anti-dumping duties to certain anchor kits. The issue in this appeal is whether anchor kits imported into Canada by Cobra were ”fasteners” subject to the Tribunal findings in Certain Fasteners 2 (the subject goods) and therefore subject to the imposition of anti-dumping duties. The appeal was allowed. Cobra Anchors Co. Ltd. was advised by a team from Fasken Martineau led by Peter Kirby.
