Platmin closes US$69 million private placement

On May 22, 2009, Platmin Limited (TSX/AIM: PPN), an explorer and emerging platinum group metal producer, closed a £39,008,087 (approximately $69 million) private placement of new common shares, the proceeds of which will be used for debt restructuring and for working capital purposes. GMP Securities Europe LLP acted as agent for the private placement, and was advised by Fasken Martineau with a team led by Al Gourley and including Mark Camilleri, Deenan Pillay and Sarah Lafleur.
