Discovery 2009 Flow-Through Limited Partnership closes IPO of Units

On November 18, 2009, Discovery 2009 Flow-Through Limited Partnership ("Discovery") closed its initial public offering of units. The syndicate of agents for the offering was co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and CIBC World Markets Inc. Fasken Martineau advised Discovery and its manager, Middlefield Fund Management Limited, in this transaction with a team that included Stephen Erlichman, John Sabetti, Daniel Fuke and Laura Fetter (securities), Marc Lefler (banking) and Mitchell Thaw (tax).
