On June 14, 2010, OMERS Administration Corp. completed the financing of Campus Common with Heritage Legacy Infrastructure 2008 Corp. acting as borrower. The project contains unique design features that make it attractive as a private sector owned development that will largely function as a student residence for Ryerson University.The development is expected to serve as a paradigm for similar projects at other universities and community colleges that must increasingly look to innovative legal and business structures to supplement government funding.Heritage was advised in this transaction by Fasken Martineau with a team that included Jon Levin, Koker Christensen and Andrea Centa.
