Minneapolis adopts the BIXI system for its bike share program

In July 2010, Public Bike System Company, operator of the BIXI public bike system in Montréal, introduced to the City of Minneapolis (Minnesota, U.S.A.), a public bike system inspired on the Montreal system comprised of approximately 700 bicycles and 65 stations. The operation of the system is assumed by the non-profit organization Nice Ride Minnesota.
