Barclays Capital establishes US$25 million revolving facility for Aura Minerals

On March 18, 2011 Aura Minerals Inc. (TSX: ORA) completed a two year US$25 million revolving credit facility with Barclays Capital. The credit facility will be used for working capital purposes at the copper-gold-silver Aranzazu Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico and for general corporate purposes. Barclays Capital is the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC. The Mining and Metals group of Barclays Capital provides a broad spectrum of financial services and solutions to the mining and metals industry comprising advisory, financing and risk management. Fasken Martineau acted as lead counsel to Barclays Capital in connection with the financing with a team that included John Elias and Louise Kennedy.
