Timothy Squire of Fasken Martineau was retained by a Canadian medical device manufacturer to lead one of the largest and most extensive medical device recalls in Canadian history, involving 7 million in vitro diagnostic devices distributed from Canada to approximately 40 countries globally. The recall was classified as a Type I Health Hazard by Health Canada (i.e. health emergency).
