The family-run Cook’s Dairy, which has a solid presence in south-western Nova Scotia, has been acquired by Québec’s Agropur Cooperative. This acquisition will allow the Cook family to preserve the heritage of its business, and the dairy cooperative to solidify its presence in the region while diversifying its range of products. The transaction was completed by Diane Bertrand, Louis Séguin and Marie-Eve Clavet, who dealt with the commercial and corporate aspects of the deal, as well as Pierre-Olivier Charlebois and Alain Ranger, who worked on the environmental and taxation issues.
