Acted for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in connection with a bought deal, secondary offering of 8,000,000 subordinate voting shares of BRP Inc. by CDPQ, Bain and other selling shareholders for total gross proceeds of approximately $222,800,000. BRP is a global leader in the powersports vehicles industry with a portfolio of brands and products including Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft, Can-Am all-terrain and side-by-side vehicles, Spyder roadsters, Evinrude outboard engines, as well as Rotax propulsion systems. Fasken Martineau acted for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, one of the selling shareholders, with a team that included Marie-Josée Neveu and Benjamin Somers.
