Confidential Client

In October 2013, League Assets Corp. applied for CCAA protection. The proceeding is complicated, and as a result of our representation, an agreement was negotiated among the debtors and their secured creditors to allow for an orderly liquidation of some of the debtors’ assets while restructuring options were explored for the remainder. Fasken Martineau is advising the investors with a team led by John Grieve and including Kibben Jackson and Vicki Tickle. As counsel for the investors, our team has provided insight and advice with respect to the process generally, appeared on various applications to safeguard the interests of the investors generally, and prepared a directors and officers claim for all of the investors.
