On July 10, 2014, Orosur Mining Inc. (TSX: OMI) (AIM: OMI) and Waymar Resources Ltd. announced the completion of a previously announced plan of arrangement pursuant to which Orosur acquired Waymar through a three-cornered amalgamation. Orosur issued 18,466,938 shares in exchange for all the issued and outstanding shares of Waymar. On July 9, 2014, the trading price of Orosur shares was $0.31. This acquisition established Orosur as a premier South American gold exploration, development and production company with a producing mine and exploration assets in Uruguay and exploration and development projects in established mining jurisdictions in Chile and Colombia.
