On November 28, 2014, Maple Leaf 2014-II Flow-Through Limited Partnership completed the final closing of its initial public offering of limited partnership units, bringing total gross proceeds raised under the offering to $15,646,775. The syndicate of agents for the offering was led by Scotiabank, CIBC and National Bank Financial Inc., and included BMO Capital Markets, GMP Securities L.P., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Raymond James Ltd., Desjardins Securities Inc., Manulife Securities Incorporated, Burgeonvest Bick Securities Limited, Dundee Securities Ltd. and Global Securities Corporation. The syndicate of underwriters were advised by a team of Fasken Martineau lawyers including Anil Aggarwal, Daniel Fuke and Nicole Park (securities) and Mitchell Thaw and Claude E. Jodoin (tax).
