Major railway company initiate a confidential final offer arbitration under the Canada Transportation Act

Under the Canada Transportation Act, shippers on Canadian railways have the ability to initiate a confidential final offer arbitration (i.e., a “baseball-style” arbitration) if they disagree with rates set by a railway. Acted as co-counsel (with Simon Coval) on behalf of a major Canadian railway company in a final offer arbitration.
