On July 3, 2015, Thunderbird Films Inc. (Thunderbird) acquired all of the outstanding shares of Atomic Cartoons Inc. (Atomic). By acquiring Atomic, Thunderbird added an internationally recognized animation studio to its growing portfolio. Thunderbird Films Inc. is a Vancouver based TV and film production company. Atomic Cartoons Inc. is an award winning Vancouver based animation studio. Fasken Martineau was counsel to Atomic with a team that was led by Blair Horn and included Samuel Li and Barinder Sidhu.
