Significant Changes to BC’s Labour, Employment and WCB/Health and Safety Legislation

On April 29, 2019, the BC Government introduced Bill 8 – Employment Standards Amendment Act in the Legislature to amend the Employment Standards Act.  On April 30, 2019, Bill 30 - Labour Relations Code Amendment Act was introduced to amend the Labour Relations Code.  If passed, the changes will have significant impacts for both union and non-union employers in BC.
