Sophie Arseneault practices in the areas of employment, labour, and human rights law. Regularly working with both private and public sector employees, Sophie advises clients on a variety of employment law and labour relations matters. She also has an active litigation practice.

Sophie has assisted clients on employment standards, labour relations, wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints and a wide range of proceedings before the Ontario Labour Relations Board. She works with both unionized and non-unionized employers in a variety of industries, and has appeared before several levels of court in both criminal and quasi-criminal matters.

In her litigation practice, Sophie advises on both civil and commercial matters, including breaches of contract and negligence, for a variety of industries.

Sophie graduated from the French Common Law program at the University of Ottawa. While there, she was a Criminal Law Caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, representing clients charged with summary offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and under the Provincial Offences Act.

Sophie practices in both French and English.
