Overview

Spencer is an associate in the Specialty Litigation Group in Fasken’s Vancouver office. Spencer has a broad litigation practice focusing on construction, insurance, and product liability. He has appeared before the BC Supreme Court, the Ontario Superior Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining Fasken, Spencer articled and practiced with a well-known civil litigation boutique in downtown Toronto. During law school, Spencer achieved several awards for academic achievement, including the Osgoode Society Prize for finishing in the top 10 out of 300 students in the English Common Law program. Spencer also competed in the Oxford International Moot, where he and his team finished second in the World.

Before law school, Spencer spent four years in the financial services industry providing tailored financial advice to clients. Spencer draws on his experience practicing in Ontario and BC, as well as his client service experience to provide tailored, strategic advice to clients.
