Summer Ibrahim is currently attending the University of British Columbia, Peter A. Allard School of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science in Global Affairs, Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, Trinity College, where she was the recipient of a number of awards. Summer’s work experience includes acting as a Research Assistant at Oxford University, Faculty of Law, and a Legal Clinician for UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. She has experience as an External Affairs Coordinator for Dumuzi Art Gallery where she researched Canadian and international laws concerning cultural property and negotiated a settlement with the Department of Justice. She was also a Legal Research Intern for Level, where she researched human rights law, specifically women’s rights, aboriginal rights and human trafficking. She has also worked as an Analyst working for the World Council on City Data and was a Directed Research Student and Student Administrator for the University of Toronto, and Bilingual Art Gallery Intern for La Maison Des Artistes. Summer is fluent in Arabic. She is an avid fan of jazz and soul musicians and enjoys travel and sports.

Summer will be participating in the Firm's Secondment Program and will be seconded to Mount Sinai Hospital.
