Taisha Lewis’ corporate commercial and securities law practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Taisha advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private placements, debt and equity offerings, and regulatory exemptions.
Taisha has a broad practice advising companies on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private placements, debt and equity offerings, and regulatory compliance matters. Taisha also advises clients on corporate governance matters, including shareholder arrangements and management fiduciary duties. In particular, Taisha has experience advising high technology and knowledge-based companies.
In addition to her practice, Taisha is actively involved in the legal community, currently serving as a mentor with the Black Law Students Association. Taisha is a past member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Business Law Section Executive and the Young Lawyers Division East Executive.
Taisha received her JD from the University of Ottawa. During law school, Taisha completed an internship with Bank of Montreal’s Legal, Corporate and Compliance Group.
Prior to joining Fasken, Taisha practiced at a respected Ottawa-based business law firm advising technology companies on transactional matters.
