Theodore is a litigator in the firm’s Calgary office. His practice focuses on providing practical advice to clients on complex commercial, product liability, and employment matters. In addition, Theodore has a passion for advising clients on estate planning, administration and litigation.
Theodore aims to proactively help clients meet their legal needs in a timely and cost-effective way. Theodore has assisted clients with complex contract disputes on both large and small matters, insurance claims, and construction disputes. He also has significant experience acting for automotive manufacturers in product liability and tort claims, particularly in the areas of product design, manufacture and failure to warn, and advice regarding warranties, leases and indemnities. Theodore also maintains a general employment practice, advising on employment standards compliance, contracts, terminations, workplace policies and employment litigation.
In Theodore’s Wills and Estates practice, he acts for both executors and beneficiaries, including charities, in cases involving dependency claims, estate accounting, claims for compensation, foreign property, and voluntary tax disclosures. Theodore also prepares Wills, Personal Directives and Powers of Attorney and is a member of the firm’s Private Client Services group.
Theodore has appeared before the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench as well as in arbitrations and mediations.
