Timothy Law maintains a broad civil litigation and dispute resolution practice.
Timothy is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Fasken. Timothy completed his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Relations and Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies at the University of Toronto, where he was the recipient of a number of awards and scholarships. Timothy’s writing has been published in the Canadian Class Action Review.
During his time at law school, Timothy served as a Dean’s Fellow for the first-year Contracts Law course at Osgoode and volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario’s Legal Help Centre. In his second year, Timothy enrolled in the International and Transnational Legal Intensive Program at Osgoode and completed a 3-month placement with the Trade Law Bureau at Global Affairs Canada. Timothy’s work experience includes working as a Summer Legal Intern at Baker-McKenzie LLP in Hong Kong and a Student Border Services Officer for the Canada Border Services Agency.
Timothy acted as a Student Director on the Board of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (Ontario) and continues to be active with the Federation’s Communications Subcommittee. He is fluent in Cantonese and enjoys badminton, skiing, and following international politics in his spare time.
Timothy summered at the firm in 2019 and was seconded to Pro Bono Ontario.
