Timothy Law graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Relations and Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies at the University of Toronto, where he served was the recipient of a number of awards and scholarships. Timothy’s work experience includes working as a Summer Legal Intern/Clerk at Baker-McKenzie LLP in Hong Kong and an Officer for the Canada Border Services Agency. He also has experience working as an Intern for the Trade Law Bureau at Global Affairs Canada, the Mosaic Institute, and Stormharbour Financial Services, where he assisted in drafting proposals and investment packages involving opportunities in the European natural resource sector and developing a multimillion dollar agricultural wholesale market complex in China. Timothy currently serves as a Student Director with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. He has also previously served as a Dean’s Fellow for first-year Contracts Law at Osgoode, an Executive Member of the Asian Law Students Association, and as the Academic Head of the Social Sciences at the University of Toronto’s Student Union. Timothy is fluent in Cantonese. He enjoys martial arts, badminton, biking and alpine skiing. He is a keen follower of global politics and events and enjoys writing and visual media arts.

Timothy summered at the Firm in 2019 and was seconded to Pro Bono Ontario.
