Valerie Eisen’s practice is focused on general commercial matters,  private mergers and acquisitions. She works in a variety of industries and sectors including information technology, healthcare, media, insurance, automotive, and retail. Valerie advises clients of all sizes from startups to fortune 500 companies.

Valerie completed the joint JD-MBA program at Queen’s University with a specialization in entrepreneurship and innovation. She received the Noranda Sales Corporation / William G. Deeks award for highest standing in elective business strategy courses. Valerie was also President of Queen’s MBA Toastmasters Club and was a member of the Women in Leadership Club.

With experience analyzing companies for venture funding, Valerie has also acted as a judge for TieQuest, an international business venture competition for North American startups.

Valerie enjoys leveraging her background in strategy and innovation to provide clients with exceptional insight into their circumstances and potential.

After summering for the firm, Valerie was seconded to the information management and technology division of legal services at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. As an associate, Valerie was seconded to Arthur J. Gallagher Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG), an international brokerage offering insurance, risk management, and benefits consulting services.
