Overview

Zhuo Er Jia joined the Fasken team as a student in the summer of 2021, after completing her Bachelor of Laws with distinction at Université de Montréal. Prior to her law studies, she has received an International Baccalaureate diploma on the Dean’s list following her collegiate studies at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf.

Throughout her academic career, Zhuo Er has been involved in various causes. Notably, she has served as vice president for the local committee of World University Service of Canada in which she helped introduce the very first edition of the Student Refugee Program in order to sponsor and welcome a refugee to come study at Université de Montréal. She has also volunteered for the Legal Information Clinic at McGill and Pro Bono Students Canada where she focused on vulgarizing legal information with the aim to make it more accessible to the general population.

Before joining the Fasken team, Zhuo Er worked as a student in a general practice law firm in Montreal. At Fasken, she will be starting her articling position in 2022.
