Gabriella recently graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia where she was awarded the Lawson Lundell Prize in Administrative Law, the Sugden Prize in Trial Advocacy, and the Arthur Close QC Prize in Advanced Legal Research.

During her legal studies, Gabriella volunteered as a clinician with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, as a peer mentor to first-year law students, and worked part-time as a research assistant for Professors Nikos Harris, Benjamin Goold and Alexandra Flynn, conducting research on criminal procedure, covert police surveillance in the United Kingdom, and on administrative law, respectively. In 2019, Gabriella was selected for the Peter Burns Moot Team and placed as an alternate winner. In her final year, Gabriella completed a Judicial Internship with the Provincial Court of British Columbia, providing legal research and support to judges on both criminal and civil matters.

Outside of school, Gabriella is a long-time Advanced Rescue Volunteer at the Vancouver Aquarium’s Marine Mammal Rescue Centre and has received numerous ‘Outstanding Contribution’ awards for her service. Gabriella enjoys being engaged in community volunteering, perfecting her culinary skills, and cycling at her favourite spin studio.
