Paul Hildebrandt graduated with Distinction from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, he earned a Master of Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan where he received a number of awards and graduated with Great Distinction. Paul is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of CPA Saskatchewan and CPA Ontario. During the summer of 2019, Paul worked as an Intern with Fasken’s Tax Group where he conducted research and drafted documents on a variety of income tax and sales tax issues. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a Senior Accountant at a national accounting firm and as a Tax Specialist with a global mining company. Paul also taught Introduction to Financial Accounting at the University of Saskatchewan and has served in a variety of Teaching Assistant roles. Paul has extensive volunteer and extracurricular experience which includes serving as a Senior Editor of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review, an Executive on the University of Toronto Tax Law Society, a Board Member for the JDC West business school case competition, a Treasurer for the University of Toronto Students’ Law Society, and as a Board Member and the Finance Committee Chairman for a Saskatoon non-profit. Paul also participated in the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot in 2020 and returned to coach the University of Toronto team in 2021. In his spare time, Paul enjoys golfing, spending time on the family farm, and reading.
