BearCom acquires Vector Communications

On December 13, 2017, BearCom Acquisition Canada Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BearCom Group, Inc. (“BearCom”), acquired all of the issued  and outstanding shares of Vector Communications Ltd. (“Vector”). BearCom is one of the United States’ preeminent providers of wireless communications equipment and solutions for two-way radios and other voice and data technologies. BearCom is a portfolio company that is controlled by LKCM Headwater Investments, the private investment arm of Luther King Capital Management, a Fort Worth Texas based investment firm. Vector is a manufacturer of wireless telecommunications equipment and is based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP acted as Canadian counsel to BearCom, with a team led by Alex Nikolic and John Turner that included Markus Liik and Laura Konkel (Corporate/M&A), Mitchell L.
