eStruxture finalizes the acquisition of the Canadian data center business from Aptum Technologies and enters into a credit facility with Deutsche Bank Credit Solutions and Direct Lending

In April 2021, eStruxture, a Canadian-owned cloud and carrier-neutral data center provider, acquired eight data centers, five in Toronto, two in Montreal and one in Vancouver, along with all customers and employees associated with the colocation business from Aptum Technologies’ a portfolio company of Digital Colony.

eStruxture’s legal team was led by Marie-Josée Lapierre, its Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

A Fasken team consisted of Peter Villani, Nicole Park, Guillaume Saliah, Marie-Christine Valois and Anthony Sylvain (Corporate/M&A), Martin Racicot and David Rimock (Banking), Antonio Di Domenico, and Justine Reisler (Competition), Rhonda Grintuch and Jackie VanDerMeulen (Labour and Employment) Elias Retsinas, Mathieu Renaud and Caleigh Dayan (Real Estate), Jean-Philippe Mikus (Technology) and Jean-Philippe Therriault (Environmental) advised eStruxture with respect to the acquisition and the entering into of the credit facility.
