On July 7, 2021, Platinum Equity, a global investment firm, announced the acquisition of Ingram Micro Inc. ("Ingram Micro"), from HNA Technology Co., Ltd, a part of HNA Group, for a total enterprise value of US$7.2 billion, in a transaction that includes US$5.9 billion of equity value.
