Elise is an Associate in the Specialty Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group specializing in trusts, wills, estates and charities litigation. She has assisted clients in complex trusts and estates cases at the BC Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. She has experience in disputes involving variation of wills and trusts, abuses of powers of attorney and trustee breaches, and undue influence and lack of capacity claims.
Elise graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law where she represented students as the VP Academic and student ambassador. Elise was selected for the 2016 Peter Burns Moot Team and was subsequently chosen to represent UBC at the MacIntyre Cup Western Final Competition. Prior to returning to Fasken for articles, Elise clerked for eight justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Elise is actively involved in the Young Advocates Society of Canada, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, and the Hoop-Law Charity Basketball Tournament. Elise enjoys all sports and was a member of the Women’s Varsity Soccer team at the University of Toronto while obtaining her B.A. in Criminology and Sociology.
