Jacob Wagner is currently attending the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto graduating with High Distinction. He was also a Dean’s List Scholar and received the John Horner Undergraduate Scholarship in Geography and the University of Toronto Association of Geography Alumni Undergraduate Research Award. Jacob also obtained a Certificate in the Performing Arts from the Canadian College of the Performing Arts and danced professionally on multiple North American tours. Jacob’s work experience includes acting as a Research Assistant for Professor Elizabeth Judge at the University of Ottawa as well as conducting research for Elections Ontario in the Innovation and Electoral Transformation Division. His volunteer and extra-curricular experience includes founding the (IN)VISIBLE Initiative which supports a community of equity and inclusion, as well as acting Co-President of the Business Law Society, and membership in the Common Law Student Society and OUTLaw Society. He also co-produced and directed the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law musical. During his undergraduate studies, Jacob was a member of the Academic Board and Striking Committee of the University of Toronto’s Governing Council. Jacob enjoys theatre, travel, and athletics, including weight training, running, beach volleyball, and curling.
