Matthew is completing his last year of law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia where he was the Assistant Editor of the UBC International Law Journal.  Matthew received his Master of Science, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from UBC where he received the Faculty of Medicine Graduate Award.

Matthew spent the summer of 2015 working as a Review Officer - Student Intern at WorkSafeBC.  He has also worked at St. Paul’s Hospital as a Research Assistant with the Healthy Heart Program where he collaborated on study design and execution of a nationwide database.  He interviewed and assessed potential participants and communicated benefits of the study to encourage patient participation.

Matthew enjoys travel and undertook an extended backpacking trip through Europe.  He has been active in soccer as a player and a coach.  He coached MicroFootie at Brittania and has was a member of the UBC Men’s Varsity Soccer team (2007-2011).  Matthew is currently  a member of Mundiavocat FC.  He joins us for articles in August.
